Nominations are now open for TWO Doctors in Training to join Cleveland Local Medical Committee
We are seeking:
- One Doctor in Training from Year One
- One Doctor in Training from Year Two
The Benefits of joining Cleveland Local Medical Committee
- Invaluable early-career leadership development, direct insight into NHSontracts and commissioning.
- A networking platform with established local medical leaders. Liaise, Network with GPs currently on the Local Medical Committee.
- It also enables trainees to advocate for systemic improvements and voice the unique challenges facing modern primary care.
- To influence the development of General Practice across Tees, Regionally and Nationally.
Committee Meetings
- Meetings are held 6 times a year, starting at 7pm held over both Microsoft Teams and face to face.
- Committee members are paid an attendance allowance.
- Represent your fellow Doctors in Training at these meetings and raise issues currently being discussed amongst your colleagues.
