Contract: Permanent, 6-8 sessions

About Us:
Huntcliff Surgery is a well-established and patient-focused GP practice serving the local community in Saltburn, a picturesque seaside town, with a list size of just over 10,000 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, holistic care to our diverse patient population. With a supportive and friendly team, our practice is committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and the well-being of both our patients and staff. Our clinical team currently comprises 4x GP partners, 2x salaried GPs, 4x nurse practitioners, 2x practice nurses, 1x GP assistant, 1x senior healthcare assistant, 1x phlebotomist; supported by an in-house pharmacist, pharmacy technician, prescriptions team, data admin team, senior management team, and friendly reception staff. We also have a range of ARRS staff including a first-contact MSK practitioner, child & young persons mental health practitioner, and social prescribers.
Role Overview:
Due to a senior partner retiring, an exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and compassionate GP to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of primary care services, including acute consultations, chronic disease management, home visits (usually 0-1 per day), and reviewing and actioning results. This role offers the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking practice with a friendly team and strong support network.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including consultations, examinations, treatments, follow-up, and referrals where indicated.

Manage long-term conditions, offering advice and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Participate in practice meetings, audits, and clinical governance activities to ensure continuous improvement.

Engage in professional development to stay updated with the latest medical guidelines and best practices.

Contribute to the practice's quality improvement initiatives and help shape the future direction of the practice.

Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
