Practice Manager - Crossfell Health Centre, Middlesbrough

Crossfell Health Centre is looking for a dynamic and proactive Practice Manager to lead our dedicated practice team. This is a key role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading on practice strategy, finance, HR and operations.
We need a practice manager not just to facilitate the smooth running of this patient centred practice but also to help us develop and innovate: to lead the practice forward, building on the relationships that already exist between doctors, staff, and patients.
Candidates must be experienced, versatile, conscientious, and able to provide management and leadership for a large GP Practice.
The person appointed will be appropriately qualified and experienced.  They will have outstanding leadership, HR, and organisational skills with a head for business and finance, and a heart for people and professionalism.
This is a well-established medical practice, respected by patients for its high standard of patient care with a stable administrative team who understand the needs of our patients.
Supported by an excellent administrative and clinical team, they will also have the vision, willingness, and drive to adapt to NHS targets and changes within a profitable, efficient, fast-paced, working environment.
The post will be remunerated appropriately to reflect the experience of the successful applicant.

  • Managing finances including managing budgets, financial planning, and payroll
  • Business planning and strategy

  • Knowledge and application of IT systems
  • Health and safety and risk management
  • NHS experience (if relevant)
  • HR and recruitment
  • Any other experience relevant to this job
